Remember when the sound of an air conditioner running was louder than the air coming out of it. That was before Mitsubishi Electric began noise reduction research. We don't simply make systems, we manufacture innovative products that operate with low-noise specifications; products tested in soundproof rooms equipped with audio equipment superior of most recording studios. That's why our air-conditioning equipment and systems are some of the quietest in the industry.
Meticulous is the word that best describes Mitsubishi Electric when considering noise level and quality. We know that even the slightest noise may ruin a restful night of sleep. That's why we built a soundproof room to detect and analyze sounds, even those that are inaudible to the human ear. Processes include noise measurement, frequency analysis and repeated auditory tests, all in pursuit of air conditioner quietness. Electromagnetic emissions and radiation noise are also restricted to levels more stringent than legal requirements.
Over the years, we've done much more than simply manufacture air conditioners. We've been making them quieter. Within a decade, we reduced the noise level in indoor units, while improving cooling efficiency. Redesigning the internal fan blades, the heat exchanger and adding an innovative dual vane system enabled us to reduce air resistance for smoother overall airflow. What was once as loud as a whisper is now quieter than the rustling of leaves as they fall to the ground.
