Heat pump is a system which evaporates refrigerant outdoor and transfers heat absorbed inside a room for heating that works in reverse to the preceeding cooling. In other words radiates heat inside a room by condensation and absorbs heat by evaporation at outdoor.
As shown below Heat Pump system has a reversing valve 4-way valve) incorporated which reverses the refrigerant flow in the refrigerant circuit.
