Humidity greatly effects comfort in a room as much as temperature. We feel uncomfortable if humidity is high even if the temperature is not too high. Excessively high humidity also causes damage to interior materials and furnitures. While cooling with an air conditioner, air around the evaporator not only will be cooled but vapor contained in the air condensates and flows to outdoor as drainage water thus inside the room will be comfortable because of low humidity. In other words, operating an air conditioner lowers both the room temperature and humidity at the same time, and sometimes we feel uncomfortable due to excessively low temperature when the ambient temperature is relatively low. To prevent this discomfort, a system has been developed which dehumidifies, without lowering room temperature.
We, Mitsubishi have developed a "Computer dehumidifying system" which saves as much as 13 %energy compared with normal dehumidifying operation. When this newly developed Computer dehumidifying system works, the microcomputer detects the room temperature and determines the optimum operating mode for the room temperature detected with minimum temperature decrease but maximum dehumidification. s The indoor unit fan provides near-natural air flow by repeating 20 seconds low air and 10 seconds stop Mitsubishi's unique natural blow system.
